hi,

could someone tell the reason for some bars haveing 1 smooth area in the centre of the bar extending outwards , and some bars have 2 smooth sections on either side of a ruff centre section.

when i try the circuit ill start with a 3 min rest between sets and give myself rest (more/less) according to how i feel.

thanks for the help, with regards to the CNS , is there any practical way of knowing if im giveing it enough recovery between sets? i know if ive overtrained ill be fatigued . but is it possible to know dureing a workout? i was thinking a rest of 3min is 40% less recovery then if rested for 5min, an...

heavy circuit or 50/20 work out

hi, would doing a heavy circuit such as: Front squat , press , power clean , bench . reps of 3-5 for 20minutes. give good results or would Bryce Lanes 50/20 workout wich uses normally just the one excercise for 20 minutes give better results? i will be doing one of these workouts , just once a week....

hi ive been doing the starting strength program . but rather then just 3 x 5 and uping the weight each time. i up the number of sets as follows 3 x 5 , 4 x 5 , 5 x 5 before i up the weight then start back at 3 sets. Im not drinking gallons of milk and dont want to get bigger , so is this a good way ...
