when I do dead lifts and hamstring curls I'm fine, I've been doing hamstring stretches as well and inner leg works outs and I usually use a little bid wider then shoulder width foot stance. For the most part stretching has been helping, just not a lot, I just wanted to check in with you guys to get ...

It's been on going since I started going back to the gym about a month ago after a 6 month hiatus. Usually I Just push through even though it hurts, wonder if you guys kno...

Wonder if you can expand on the discussion by including the definition of Work. W=Force x distance So W= (weight lifted) x (No of reps x distance each range) So if you squat 200lb ten times with a range of 3ft, your work would be 6000 ft -lbs. So why don't you feel the same if you squatted 400lbs f...

Goals you've reached and are proud of.

when I first started squatting I had chicken legs that could squat 60 pounds for 10 reps and I used to be light headed an nauseous afterwards  . Now about a year later I can squat 225 lbs for 3 sets of 10 and not feel winded.

share some of your success stories

wow, this was quite and interesting read.I've always heard about explosive training but never quite took the time to look into it. I'm guessing you can work other parts of your body with explosive training as well. What other areas of the body can you train like this and how?

I was always really skeptical of this just because the sources I heard it from weren't to reliable but really it does make sense. I took a break from working out for awhile and ever since I restarted, my routine has changed. Before lower body was top priority and upper body was second and I would mi...

Yoga?

Just curious on your guys thoughts on yoga and lifting? does yoga benefit lifting at all? just asking because I've been thinking about trying yoga, being strong and flexible seems really appealing. It seemed to work out in Stretch Armstrong favor haha

Elephant elbow lol. I have gotten the same weird redness/dry skin as well.I've never had it in my life until I started working out, I just applied body moisturizer and avoided long sleeves and it went away

Re: Skinny-manpower

OK, I broke a finger a few months ago, took a long break from lifting heavy, lost 10 lbs, and just got back into it. I’ve been doing a modified “super squat” type of routine to try and put the weight back on. Here are my recent numbers: 72.5 inches, 170lbs Bench- 230 x 1 Squat 205 x 20 Deadlift- 32...
