So I gave this 5day workout a go since I wanted to do some iso work and deads and sldl same week. It's a very simple plan but it did allow me to push some good weight. 1st exercise is 5x5 and second is 4x5. Ramping to top set. I was looking at the template for a push,pull,legs routine. It stated you could work Monday thru Friday and just take weekends off. Do you think that would allow for enough rest/growth and is it overtraining to work 5 days in a row? How about if you took wednesday off along with the weekends?
What would be the better workout.. Both are based on ramping weight up to final set...and adding weight or rep every workout. Best exercises to build chest are flat bench and incline IMO. I would do flat barbell bench and dumbell incline bench 1 week and flat dumbell bench and barbell incline bench the next week.

Would keep each exercise at 2 sets of around 6 reps Monday - Deads, Shrugs, Good Mornings, Forearm curls, Reverse forearm Tues - Mil press, DB OH press, Side delts, Rear delts, High Pulls Wed - Squats, Front Squats, SLDL, Calfs, Lunges Thurs - Bench, Incline bench, Decline bench, Close grips, Skulls...
