So the only thing to make sure is that they don't heat up too much, got that. How about steaming them? Maybe I don't know what steaming is, but that 'method' where you boil water, then place those bowls with holes in it (I know little of cooking and utensils) pour the vegetables in it, cover it up a...

Frozen Vegetables

Any negatives about bagged frozen vegetables? Its just more convenient for myself to be able to have a bag with a large variety I can cook/steam up and have ready, as opposed to have to buy them all individually (I may even save money) and prepare them that way.

Active isn't a problem, I need to keep my diet in check. I eat healthy and lots of whole foods, but I think I may not be eating enough.

Thanks Tim, I've been all over sites with him but they seem to have limited information. The one you posted I have visited but doesn't have lots of information, I had to compile it from various sites.

So whipped cream and protein powder, I'll be trying that out then for sure, thanks.

Whipped Cream?

I've been doing some research on famous bodybuilders from way back when and trying to figure out how they endured through way back when. I've come across someone by the name of Vince Gironda and am very intrigued by the information I've found on him and his teachings. One thing in particular I found...

Without starting a new topic, I decided to post this here since its relevant to the topic. I'm changing my workout (again) I'm going from doing full body weight training (Mon, Wed, Fri) and half hour of skipping (Tues, Thurs) to something I've never really tried before. Day One: Chest/Calves/Abs Pus...

Muscle Size

Does anyone know of a website, or book, or perhaps its here on ExRx (only I haven't found it...) where I can get a list of the muscles on the human body from largest to smallest? Or even just the largest muscles on the body. Thanks.

Frozen berries? Yeah I got some, and you say they are better than bananas? Any reason in particular? This is my meal right after workout, don't know if it will make a difference.

Great! Cause As much as I love oatmeal and mashed banana, I got a bit of a sweet tooth and its good to know raisins are a 'healthier' sweet.

Raisins?

Like the topic states, I've recently added a tablespoon of raisins to my oatmeal every morning for breakfast, is this alright? I looked up raisins on the internet right now out of curiosity and found out they are 60% sugar by weight, most of which is fructose (straight off wikipedia) However, they a...

I'm working on trying to take care of it, gonna find some time to see my doc. But just from research I'm pretty sure its the small disc between the bones in the knee. I've done a little more than necessary damage to it over the course of my still rather short life and its beginning to hurt a bit and...

Yeah, I definitely plan to keep the bread and butter exercises as you mentioned above. My workout is 3 days a week (MWF) and the other 2 days I do a half hour of jump rope. One thing though, I posted before about having a bit of a knee problem, and I really sorta feel it when I do squats. Now I do t...

Changing Workouts

Is it a good thing to switch up workouts every few weeks? I've been switching month to month but am thinking of perhaps cutting that down to every 2 weeks, just to use a variety of exercises, but keeping a focus on the largest muscles. Is this a good idea?

Get yourself all the individual vitamins. You get more of it for a much cheaper price. I pay less than $20 for a 44-day supply of Animal Pak. If I can get the individual vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and aminos for cheaper, please let me know where. You Americans are way lucky... I take Animal Pak m...

Multi-Vitamins

Just wanted to get some recommendations for a good multi-vitamin. I've been doing some research and as always with any supplement, just too many of them. Basically, I'd like the 'best', if there is such a thing. I personally use bodybuilding.com as a guideline to look up various supplements, but I l...
