Re: The Pull Up Challenge, 2011

Okay, reporting in. Been busy all this week, so treated it as a deload week. Warmed up with front squats today and jumped right in with a max pull-up set. Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012

Last weeks ladders 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,7,5,3 (51 total)

This weeks ladders 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,6,6,4 (44 total)

Thats a decrease! however...I weighed myself and my weight is up 5lbs, which might explain it...

Perhaps bulking is not the best idea when entering a challenge

Re: how much protein..need help

As a rough guide, i've always concidered any kind of meat to be around 30% protein.

Does cooking destroy protein? I suppose I can google that

Re: the biggest loser appreciation thread!

I should point out that Gerald did end up losing 9lbs, which is pretty impressive.
On the third week, that would be a 9lb $h1t then!

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012

I'm in too. My max currently is 11 bodyweight, sooooo....12 would be nice. I found ladders got me from 10 to 11, so will use the same approach again.
