Re: broken collar bone (clavicle) rehab/ prevention
Thanks Jason, Glad to see it all worked out well for you. I'm fairly confident that all will work out for me also. My Surgeon has been great and he does understand that I will continue to be active, play sports, and that I must get my range of motion back. Thankfully, it's not my throwing arm (also ...

Re: broken collar bone (clavicle) rehab/ prevention
Time for an update. Saw the Surgeon Yesterday. Looks like I'll be in surgery this coming Friday. Then a week of NOTHING (nearly bed rest) two to Three weeks of minimal movement in a sling, then I'll be able to think about the rehab PT work. Gonna be a long recovery as it will take screws, wire, and ...

Re: broken collar bone (clavicle) rehab/ prevention
Glad to hear that there likely wasn't anything I could have done to help prevent this type of injury (besides being a little smaller and lighter). It was a fluke for sure, as I have attempted the same play many times before, but it wasn't to be this time. It will likely be a while before I do any go...

broken collar bone (clavicle) rehab/ prevention
Hey, guys, it's been a while since I've posted. Sadly, I haven't been working out as much as I should have, but I've been pretty busy staying active chasing my daughter around the ball field and playing slow pitch softball. Anyway, now to my question and issue. This past weekend, I was playing outfi...

Re: Tough Mudder in October: Need a training Plan
Yep, this is going to be rough... I started the running/jogging/walking part of the training last weekend. Ended the 1st day at 3.75miles in 45minutes or so. The first 2 miles were at a decent pace ~10:00 minute mile, but the trip back home was quite a bit slower with a lot more walking. Monday, I w...

Re: Tough Mudder in October: Need a training Plan
Doc, Unfortunately, I have no real idea what the obstacles will be. I can predict lots of Mud and water, Electric shock, and the clombing and carrying of items. How those will be distributed, I don't know. In theory, it could be only a couple different obstacles that we repeat multiple times. The Ev...

Re: Tough Mudder in October: Need a training Plan
I've been wanting to build a sled. This might be the excuse I need.
Not many Large Rocks easy to get where in live in town.
Good ideas, Keep them coming.

Tough Mudder in October: Need a training Plan
After about a year of completely slacking off on Workouts and generally not eating that great, I've been convinced to register for a Tough Mudder Competition. http://www.toughmudder.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The Event is not until October, so I have some time to prepare, but...

Sorry for the delay in responding, I missed this post somehow..
The forums with Tapatalk I manage are for clients. I am also a member and participate on them, but Clients none the less. And I still haven't updated them, due to some mods I have on the forum to stop the spammers..

Yeah, It quit working a few weeks ago, but I hadn't had a chance to get beck and mention it. I'll assume you Cleared the PHPBB Cache. That has typically been the cause of Tapatalk errors on the systems I have running it. I must admit, I haven't updated to the latest tapatalk plugin for any of my For...
