This is an interesting topic. So basically the idea of pre-exhaustion is false? Not to go off topic, but to do just that, I noticed a lot of the regular posters have very good information. Aside from the information on this site, do you all have exercise research journals that you frequent? If so, I...

Rather than start a new topic about it, I thought I would just bring back this old one. I read through M2 and started doing some of the exercises, and am planning on gradually adding more. When I first started them I was tired by the time I was done, and was concerned about the lifting to follow, bu...

There's a misunderstanding there. I meant lifting opposing limbs while having the other hand and the other knee still on the floor. As in, start from kneeling, place hands on the floor, then slowly lift one hand and the opposing leg towards the ceiling. Wow, I can only imagine trying to lift opposin...

Ordered M2 and Bulletproof Knees the other day, got a message that they were shipped. Am really looking forward to it! I have really enjoyed my last couple purchases. Prior to these I got Nate Green's Built for Show and Eric Cressey's Maximum Strength. I read both and thoroughly enjoyed them. I star...

That sounds like a good idea KPj. I want to get the most out of those items, I'll just spread out my purchases. It took me a day or two now but I realized I got into a specific mindset. Basically, it comes down to what price would you pay for good health? We analyze our costs for gym memberships, fo...

Wow! Thanks for the great synopsis! The status on my joints is to prevent things down the line. Let me rephrase my question. Is it required to buy all the other materials with the basic DVD/Book to get the most out of it? I am leaning towards spending more money and getting the e-book, print manuals...

M2, Inside/out, bulletproof knees
I'm looking into this collection of stuff to buy from Mike Robertson. They all have a wide range of prices based on what all you purchase with the DVD/book. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just go basic and get them at the minimum price or are the e-books, print manuals, etc worth it? Any...

Look here under Progressions (in the right hand column) http://www.exrx.net/Lists/PowerExercises.html The progressions listed are for the clean and jerk, but for the Snatch, replace the front squat with overhead squats and instead of front pressing/jerking , use behind neck, and a wide snatch grip ...

OL Progression
I am interested in performing OLs, but am very new to them. I've looked at the different lifts and was wondering is there one to start with then move into the more complex ones?

Matt Z, First off thanks for helping with the positions, that is one thing I've been struggling with for a while on the bench press. Typically on a flat bench press I try to keep the bar at the nipple line. For incline presses I tend to bring the bar just below the clavicle. Any pros or cons to thos...
