Don't necessarily need implants. Could just use big shoulder pads in suit jackets like in the '80s and avoid exercise altogether :idea:

I would have thought that your school friend was a type I and possibly brittle with it. Type II tends to be adult onset rather than pre-teen or teenage and tends to be more metabolic syndrome related. But, what do I know :roll:

Sorry but I don't think that is correct. Diabetes is a name given to a range of conditions involving the body's inability to manage its blood glucose (ignore diabetes insipidus which is a rare genetic disease).
