Thanks for the advice. In reply to Jungledoc, yes i am a novice. I think a whole body workout would benefit me the most, i am only querying about the lateral deltoid because looking from the front i have rather flat shoulders. I wanto start a 5x5 program but there are no exercises in any of the programs which focus predominantly on the lateral deltoid, which i want to develop. I have read several different articles on this topic (referring particularly to the pectoralis muscle), and i am quite confused about it. On one site i read that doing incline bench greatly emphasizes your upper chest, yet on another site i read that doing incline or flat bench will work your muscle...
