Re: Tight triceps, symptoms, thoughts?

Thanks for your input. I would not say there isnt necessarily elbow pain. They can be sensitive and inflamed but if I ice them or rest them a few days it normally takes care of it. I really think that's a product of not enough rest and giving them time to recover at times. How often can my back hand...

Re: Tight triceps, symptoms, thoughts?

also how do the rear delts and triceps affect each other. I feel like if someone was analyzing my physique and critiquing my performance on lifts and physical appearance, the clear weak link would be the rear delts and triceps.

Re: Tight triceps, symptoms, thoughts?

sorry for the delay in responding. To start with I got a massage and the lady made a comment about how tight my triceps were. Normally I would assume that she knew what she was talking about, but I have gotten plenty of massages before and this happens to be the first time anyone has ever mentioned ...

shoulder area????

I have some kind of tightness in and around my shoulder joint that has bothered me for a long time. I have tried tons of stretching and flexiblity routines to no avail. I have found one thing that helps significantly. I put a frozen water bottle or ice pack in my arm pit and ice it for a few minutes...

Re: question...

I have dealt with this fatigued, tight, tired feeling in these muscles for too long and it really affects my ability to row any weight at all and have alway...

Re: shoulder flexibility issues and pulldowns

Ladies and gents, my apologies I have been out of pocket. I have seen an unbelievable change over the last few weeks. I started with dropping all pressing exercises and focused more on basic rows with light weight and strict form. Added in reverse flies to strengthen posterior delts, some rotator cu...

shoulder flexibility issues and pulldowns

Guys and Gals, I work a desk job and spend a whole lot of time hunched over a computer. I am in the process of improving my flexibility and posture and I am making good progress. I have had one area that has been giving me trouble and that is pain in my upper back, posterior shoulder, rotator cuff a...

Balance issues- Please help

I have extremely flat feet and very bad balance, especially when standing on one foot. I have attempted training on "unstable surfaces" and balancing with one foot on bosu balls and nothing helps. Can anyone think of something I could be over looking? Could weak muscles in my feet be the culprit?

Shoes with toe slots.

I dont know if any of you have seen these new shoes but I am seeing people wearing these new shoes at the gym that have different slots for each toe.

What does everyone think about these shoes and has anyone tried them?

sauna and steam room questions

I'm just curious what everyones theory is regarding sauna and steam after weight training. I prefer the sauna because my body can handle it longer.

Questions

Do you think steam and/or sauna after workouts is a good practice?

Which do you prefer?

Or

What is your overall philosophy?

hamstrings and inactive glutes

I have convinced myself my left glute is inactive. My left hamstring also feels very different from my right hamstraing. I would assume the hamstring has begun to compensate for the inactive glute and isnt acting as it should. Will this fix itself over time or is this something i need to approach di...
