Re: read this first

Could we add some more stuff using kettlebells (like the turkish getup one), for swings, snatches, or even shoulder pressing? P.S. I have a ton of resources on nutritional approaches if you want to go ahead and add the Paleo, vegan, raw, IF, whatevers. I can send them to you ahead of time.

this is the number one thing I strive to teach clients I work with (nutritionist) and abandon concepts that won't die, like "breakfast is the most important meal of the day".

Re: Anyone take Glucosamine with MSN and does it work...

It's very hard to show efficacy for dietary supplements because it simply, depends on too many variables to account for in the control group, if testing. And Jungledoc is right about long term studies. Your brain CAN be a tool but who cares? You probably cannot, unless you're a very experienced yogi...

Re: had some ART today

Just wanted to chime in that ART is awesome and, along side a good PT (once in a blue if something is achy "functionally") and a chiro that I trust, it's one of my go-to techniques. that and Graston technique. I love GT. Hella weird, though.

Re: supplementing magnesium

What effects? mood and insomnia was one (under stress) another was bone strength (seemingly) it's hard to say because if you eat a ton of veggies (like spinach for example) they will be loaded with magnesium so supplementation or transdermal magnesium may not be needed (may is the operative word) Y...

I'm not disagreeing necessarily but I would like to know your thoughts behind that if that is directed towards me, that is because I've seen it's profound effects clinically with both athletes and average Joe Shmoes What effects? mood and insomnia was one (under...

Re: For those who have done it the right way for a long time

you shouldn't need "will-power" to control your cravings, if you are trying to utilize it then you're doing it wrong. go on.... I appreciate your feedback ( I too want to thak kpj again. Noting that the lifestyle is interwoven so much for a fellow like me. - the kind who get anxious too easily and ...

Re: For those who have done it the right way for a long time

I hope I am not late to the party nor would be ignored for being a n00b on this forum (ironically my "status" also said n00blar or the like). As KPj has all ready stated, cravings DO go away and that is primarily because "cravings" by definition are a mental state not an actual biological "need" per...

hey man you know what? Fox News also had an article on dangers of non-organic produce, GMO foods and even milk and grain/cereal corporations. For the "evil republicans" they sure do spread good information around!

Re: supplementing magnesium

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I thought I should add something about magnesium supplements. Studies have shown that amounts of ingestion of 450mg or more in healthy adult males per day can have a laxative affect. I can't remember the figures for other people. :pottytrain5: as my first post...
