Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

I see, thank you everybody for your help. I know I may have overthinked but maybe my logic is just like this: if I have the possibility to make two steps, why should I limit myself to one just because of something which is holding me back without knowing? However I take your points and I think that ...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

In reply to everybody: Sorry if my questions are creating trouble to some of you. I didn't know it was against rules to open a new thread for questions concering a training program. In reply to Dub: I thought that just as nutrients (like protein etc), it'd have been better to have them available all...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

In reply to Jungledoc: you're right, I started off with a question and then gradually started to address all of my training concerns/questions in this thread. Sorry about it  In reply to Dub: I've read that about creatine on wikipedia, which states 3 sources: A single 5 g (5000 mg) oral dose ...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

Thanks again for your time :salute: In reply to Dub: I know that sleep and protein intake are very important and that I can achieve both nicely. My concern is that if I don't eat as often, my body would be "starving" or going catabolic if I sleep, say 10 hours (like 8 hours continously, wake up, but...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

Thanks for your replies. I'm sorry about the debate I started. How critical would be sleep VS protein/nutrient intake? Like, would it be better to sleep 7 or so hours continuously and get up and start taking proteins each 3 hours (thus making about 6 meals during the day) or make 1 or 2 less meals a...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

I see, thanks for your reply and your time to read through all the stuff I've written :sunny: I think I'll do the abs and calves exercises because particularly the latter, they aren't properly targeted in any other non-specific exercise. I'll just have not to exceed on abs hypertrophy for aesthetics...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

Thanks everybody for the input. I am reading this thread over and over to make sure that the concepts get memorized in my mind :salute: I originally didn't care about muscle development but more to strength, though lately I thought that I'd be fine with a compromise between two, as probably was when...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

Thank you all for your replies. I didn't state my previous and actual PR to brag or to shut up discussion/advice from people lifting less than me. :salute: Also while my previous or actual increase of strength may be proof that the programs I do/did work for me, I can't be so sure because for exampl...

Re: Comments on my routine and a few questions

Thank you both for your tips and ideas. They're really appreciated. Any reasoned correction is welcome, since I may be ignoring most scientific studies and proven training ideas. I may have omitted a bit of details, so I understand your wonder on many things. Some of these inconsistencies may...

Comments on my routine and a few questions

Hello, I'm Cassius and I'm 23 years old. I've been training for a few years in the row time ago, then had a couple years off and now have been pulling myself together since some months. I'm looking to increase my strength and overall muscle size, so I'm also supplementing with whey protein shakes an...
