If your abductor is weak, don't you want to do abductor exercises? Why so many reps? How much progress have you made so far? And how frequently do you do it? You can do any workout indefinitely. Unless you're concerned with competitive times, weight put on from weight training won't hurt, and may even help. A lot of fast 5k runners are quite strong looking. Short runs are probably negligible but distance running will hinder strength gains.

When people post their lifts, is that their 1 rep max? Unless I'm feeling exceptionally fatigued, I never do a working set of only one rep. If you look up lunges on exrx, you'll see that they have a ton of overlap with squats, which you're doing.

One of my friends had a viewing party and we got a bunch of beers and $h1t to watch at his house. Some of the early matches were okay but the main event was maybe a little over a minute. I don't know much about MMA but I also don't know much about, say, basketball and it's more fun to watch.

There was advice in the pull up thread that talked about having someone poke your lats when you're doing them to make sure you're engaging them, maybe that could be applicable here too?

I want to exceed the intermediate exrx strength standards for everything except cleans by at least 20lbs. And maybe start doing cleans. Don't want to get huge, so this seems like a nice strength based goal, and wouldn't mind "cheating" by losing some weight if I can maintain strength.
