Re: In Season Lacrosse Player
So this would be 7 - 8 exercises... Seems to be much for inseason training... I would cut it to the basics just to keep your strength during the season... Try to train fairly heavy (low volume) on the compound lifts and the other stuff with high repetitions (low intensity, higher volume) Provided y...

2 problems...
Hey guys i have got 2 things that are bugging me in the gym, 1. My hips rise off the bench when I'm doing a flat barbell bench press as I'm pushing the bar off my chest. 2. Front squat stance: I like to have my feet a bit wider then shoulder width apart and toes pointed out, is this acceptable for a...

Re: Need advise on a program i designed for my buddy
I cannot give any advice. By telling this person is an athlete tells me nothing. What does the rest of his/her training program look like? What sport is this athlete playing? Is it in-season or offseason? What are the goals of this training? Etc. You know. Well this would be their first actual prog...

Re: best non creatine pre work out supps
Why no creatine? Carbs+Whey Protein. Simple as that. I have no reason to recommend anything else because I don't know: 1) What that buddy is eating otherwise 2) What his goal is anyway. Is it strength? Muscle? Fat Loss? Endurance? parents are anise about it, he had a healthy diet solid 3 meals lots...

Re: knee pain
My understanding is that heat helps. I'm not a medical professional so I won't make a recommendation for treatment. Deadlifts and kettlebell swings primarily work the hips and the knees are in support only. Squats, lunges and jumps are more risky since the knee is more involved. Stress is good only...

Re: knee pain
Traditional cardio is overrated anyway. Your priority should be to heal your injury and prevent reinjury. Next, strengthen all around the injury. Then find out what you did to injure it and don't do that anymore. In the meantime, try knee friendly exercises like kettlebell swings or snatches. Your ...
