1 - This is just my opinion, but it isn't a good idea to work out more than two days in a row, particularly for weight trainers over 40. Exercise provides the seeds of growth, but growth flowers when you're OUT of the gym resting. You should either do a three day per week full body routine, a four ...

Which is better proportioned?
If I have been lifting for awhile...and can do 215 on 8 reps of squats...or 155, 8 reps with each leg on lunges...is that a little unbalanced? A buddy thinks my squat weight should be alot more if I can do that much on lunges...

http://www.thefactsaboutfitness.com/research/swimming.htm I have heard that swimming stimulates appitete more than anything else. But if not going for weight loss, it is a great exercise. Maybe muscle builders should use it as their cardio when they are trying to build it: it isn't going to take aw...
I would not worry about supplements at all for weight loss. I lost around 60 pounds just weightlifting and dieting. Cardio makes me more hungry...and dieting is the best way to lose that little bit of fat. Exercising is just the icing on the cake...and strength training was the right way for me beca...

I used to only do endurance in the morning, thanks to the military training. I started lifting weights in the morning and I do fine. I must admit though, sometimes I wait till midday and I'm able to lift more. It's important to do warm up exercises when working out in the morning though...especially...

Wow...most men can't even do 6 chin-ups. Seeing as how I am not a girl...maybe I should not be giving advice. But I would do DB Bench presses instead of push-ups...and cut out some of the auxiliary exercises. Most people are going to try to tell you to cut the cardio...but I would say keep doing it....

The funny thing is I do not do Swiss ball at all on abs anymore either...I do hanging leg raises, v-ups with weight, reverse woodchoppers and barbell rollouts. So no crunches=useless ball. I think their theory behind the swiss ball being better for pressing exercises is in theory...you will be using...

Swiss Ball Exercises?
Who here thinks it would build muscle better to do some Swiss Ball benches and seated presses? I am just wondering if it would only target my core more...or make my chest muscles do some more work! I've seen mixed recommendations for these. I used to do them for ab workouts...now I am wondering beca...
