Well after a shot into my tendon, all was well for about 2 weeks and then while curling, the pain happened again, and has been for the last few week, regardless of weight. Even an empty bar. I have been sent to see a specialist, but that won't be for another 3 weeks. Should I stop working out and hi...

Elbow Tendon?
Hi All, I've been working out on and off with weights for a few years now. About 6 weeks ago, doing my normal workout with curls, I felt an odd growing pain in my right elbow. This pain only came out when I was curling or twisting my right arm. I went to the doctor after a few days of Icy-Hot treatm...

USMC, no MOS yet as I am training to goto OCS. I am currently in decent shape but overweight by Military standards. I think I could definetly lose at least 20-30 more pounds. This would also help save my knees for longer runs. Primarily, my goal is weight loss and cardio, then weights, since I think...

Too Much???
Hi All, I am looking to burn away fat and get into gear with a short amount of time. I have been training with 30 mins spinning sessions M-F at 6am, and then 20mins weight training followed by 10 mins of slow walking around 6pm. I would like to bump it up and replace the 10 mins of walking with 30mi...

I've read about creatine but there is so much conflicting information out there, and you don't know who to really believe when it comes to articles, and thus I decided to ask here to gather reponses from personal opinions. I bought the NOX-CG3 creatine matrix powder to try it out. I can't tell if I'...

Creatine Daily Usage vs. Workouts
Am I suppose to take creatine only before I perform my workouts, or also on days which I do not, such as weekends when I don't work out? Also, should I take it early in the morning to give my body more time to get water or keep taking it in the evening before my workouts?

Actually Monday I simulated everything I would be wearing and taking, except the Excedrin. I timed how long it was until I felt the effects of everything to kick in, etc. I will be trying to sleep 8-9hours for sure! I just dont want to fall a few seconds short on my run when something could have hel...

Pre-PFT Nutrition/Supplements
I have a PFT(Personal Fitness Test) tomorrow morning at 8:30am. I was planning to get up at 6am and having some water/creatine and toast. At about an hour prior, I was going to also take some energy pills in order to help me perform better. I was also considering taking "excedrin with caffeine" pill...

1 1/2 Miles
I currently run my 1 1/2 miles at about 15 mins, 13-14 mins if I push it. My goal is to push it down to 12 mins. I need to drop it down this low within 2 weeks or so. I currently life weights M-W-F and cardio/run T-T-S. I am willing to alter my schedule for the next 2 weeks in order to accompish thi...

I am pretty sure he is talking about the brand "Strength" shoes they have a platform that lifts the ball of the food off the ground forcing the calves to remain contracted or else the heel dips and stretches the calf. seen here I think, http://www.eastbay.com/catalog/productdetail.cfm?TID=5555-0001...

Strength Shoe
Anyone have experience with these shoes? I bought a pair and have used them a bit, but along with the soreness in my calves came a soreness in my achilles and rear foot area. Is this normal or am I jumping too much?
