In my opinion you are doing way too many different exercises. Your rest periods are wayy too long. And your wokouts are way too long.
I propose you finish this program and then switch to:
A -
squat
bench
row
B-
Deadlift
Pull-up
Shoulder Press

Guys, I guess I feel like busting everyone's balls today. Do you realize that if 4 Day Split Workouts are for anyone, they are for ADVANCED lifters? Do you realize that a beginner donig an advanced workout makes no sense? On the other hand, as long as you work hard you will still make progress. Don'...

Dear soldiers33, Someone needs to tell you this... I don't know much about you, but am pretty sure that you are a beginner. Therefore you don't need bigger pecs, you need bigger and stronger everything. Never mind that you 'did gymastics a couple of years ago.' So what you need to do is find a good ...

Well, they can't hurt. Not optimal though, because of the ROM issues alreakdy discussed. They are usually used by powerlifters to help work their lockoutstrength of the upper arms. IMHO, a bridge press would be much better.Put the DB's down on either side of you, go into a wrestlers bridge, then do...

You have a point there. Pretty easy to chug down a big cold glass of apple juiceon a hot day, but I have trouble eating one of those big Washington delicious apples. Plus the fiber from the pulp is a good thing (certainly keeps my colon clean). The other thing being, the GI is shifting over towards...

Re: cure for "chicken legs"
I can squat 235 ten times...deadlift 215 10 times....and do a standing calf raise with 205 10 times...I know I am not the strongest here by ANY means...but even being able to do that much, I still get referred to as having "chicken" legs. How the hell do I increase my calfs?!?! Squat and deadlift 3...

You could try doing weighted chins, even if you can only get a few reps. Then when you switch back to bodyweight chins, they'll seem light by comparison. To continue on this note... Do crossfit type workouts like everyone said, BUT... In the begnining of each workout add a little bit of max strengt...

If it is currently a goal to lose body fat then you must cut alcohol out for the duration of the fat loss phase. This will improve results. If you must have alcohol then your are better off having a lot of alcohol 1 day a week then having a little every day. I got this tip at a seminar from Alwyn Co...

I have been using a handheld Omron for a couple of years. I think it's a waste of time. I also have come to the conclusion that it's a waste of time to try to figure out your exact lean body mass. There are many factors like hydration level that influence the reading of these BF scales/handhelds. I ...

If your girlfriend is going to cycle, just be sure to give her a good bike (normally atleast $700 MTB or cross bike[eg. my bike is a 'Bulls CL-500'] and $1500 race) to increase performance greatly. She should also have a good position on the bike: the better the position, the better the performance...
