Here we go again!

This will be lengthy so please forgive me for being long winded. A little background to get an idea what I am all about. I am a 33 y/o male and I would like to do something before father times catches up to me and slows me down. I about 175lbs and roughly 23-25% body fat. Ideally, I would like to le...

I must admit that taking steroids is very interesting and appealing but I have no desire at this moment to take it. I think the problem associated with steroids are the myths and preconceived ideas associated with it. Is it for everyone? Nope and I am an example. Will it benefit people? I guess some...

This question might be too vague to answer but I might as well give it a shot.

Is there any difference between steroids and a testosterone booster, the ones that can be bought at the local health store?

bench press form

I do DB bench press and I have a question concerning my form. When I am pushing the DBs up, should I keep my hands in the same position throughout the whole motion (palm towards feet)? Can I rotate my arms 90 degrees so my palms are facing each other at the top of the bench press? Is there any benef...

The majority of my workouts are a few hours prior to going to bed. I normally start my workouts between 7-9pm and I go to bed sometime between 11-12pm. I do notice it that I have trouble sleeping if I go to bed less than 2 hours after my workout ended.

I don't think I have any concerns but I just wanted to know what others thought about the frequency of working out abs. I do the inclines are a sort of warm up before I work out my abs. I work out my obliques because I am trying to improve my performance in baseball. I appreciate all the advice give...

Working out abs

How often should I work out my abs? I do incline and decline sit-ups approximately 3-5 days a week and I do dumbbell side bends every 3-5 days. Am I overworking my abs or should I not be concerned.

Why not substitute lunges for squats? I find that I target the same muscle groups with lunges but the lunges feels much more natural to me.

Strange but it is nice to know it is on the exercise list and there is a good example on how to perform this routine. Thanks for the info!

Dumbbell Pullover?

Is there any particular reason why this website does not explain directions on how to do pullovers with dumbbells? There is a page for barbell pullover (http://exrx.net/WeightExercises/Latissi ... lover.html). Perhaps there is a risk of injury that I am not aware of?

Thank you for the response. I will go over this website with a fine tooth comb :)

I have noticed my posture is starting to improve some as I continue to stick with my workout routine. I am starting to enjoy the results!

I have a set of dumbbells and I use them for lunges. My hamstrings are weak and not very flexible but I am working on improving both those issues. I hope, over a period of time, that my posture is going to improve.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I suffer from the same posture as the original poster. Part of my routine includes bent over rows, shrugs, incline and decline sit-ups. I have not been isolating my obliques as of yet but I will attempt to do so. Can anyone give any further advice on how I can corr...
