i totally understand that... I was just wondering how well respected the NSCA cert is. They have liabilty insurance as well, pretty much everything's included when you join them.

I think what he's describing are low-bar squats. With these the bar rests low on the upper traps, at about the level of the rear delts. Im sure most people looking for a personal trainer won't really care, but how respected is this certification? I don't have any college so the CSCS is totally out of my reach, but i've got a good backround in sports training and have a lot of excercises most personal trainers probably wouldnt think ...

I never squat with a pad and my back never hurts. It's gonna be hard to explain but i don't put the bar on my shoulders. I line it up probably around shoulder blade height and lock my elbows. broken blood vessels in shoulders?

Today after my shoulder excercises i noticed "scratches" on my shoulders. They're not on the surface though. i've seen this in my shoulders before and was just curious what they are? im hinking broken blood vessels but i really dunno.
