Intervals

OK, I will try that. It sounds like something I could naturally do without too much trouble and I don't have to keep my eye on the monitor all the time. I also saw the posts on the general forum regarding HIIT and others trying to follow the study. I thought I was the only one. Thanks for your input...

High Intensity Interval Training as in Tremblay et al 1994

I am trying to decipher the intensity of the short and long intervals in the study "Impact of Exercise Intensity on Body Fatness and Skeletal Muscle Metabolism" . They describe the intensity of the the intervals as a percentage of the "maximal work output in 10 seconds(short) or 90 seconds(long)" ??...
