I agree, go for depth first, and make sure you can FEEL where you're at, rather than seeing it in a mirror. I never look in a mirror while squatting, because it distracts my focus, and with 700+ lbs on my back, I need all the focus I can muster. What I typically do is set up my laptop on a bench fac...

I worked in the k-word, so ate tons and tons of eggs. I still to this day buy five dozen eggs at a time just for me. However, I also had a good rapport with the guards, so was able to create a program for supplementation and purchase my supps online. That was, however, while I was in the transitiona...

In agreement with Stu. I would say do the exercises in which you will need the most power, strength, and energy (squats), and work those large muscle groups throughout first, then go to the more isolated exercises such as lunges afterwards.

I use a BCAA product called X-Tend before my workouts, and glutamine/whey protein/alpha lipoic acid afterwords. I used to swear by Animal Pumps, but I'm finding them no longer necessary with this supplementation routine I'm on.

awwww, shucks! Yes, my stomach still sticks out like an alien, lol. I ended up in the Pacific Northwest for school, but not Oregon...that profile status is outdated....and yes, I'm still looking to better my squats, though I did make it up to 735 before leaving. I definitely need to work on my bench...

Try looking up Bill Pearl, and see if you can find anything regarding what he did in terms of diet. He competed against Arnold in the Earlier stages of Arnold's Career and was a Champion bodybuilder.....and a vegetarian. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/weis18.htm this is a good article, and you can ...

I may just do that, thanks. Another guy in here has the plain creatine, but he isn't getting any stronger at all....granted, he doesn't do what he should elsewhere, he is mostly in there for ego, and he doesn't like to think a whole lot. I've lifted with him before, and it ends up just frustrating m...

You are doing a really good thing in what you're doing. Keep it up. Keep learning about weight lifting. Agreed. I'm no a doctor who can give advice about back pain, golfer's and tennis elbow, but I do know that a moderate program like you are doing should be great for your body, and if you do decid...

Although I don't think you need the Lamb, ribs, steak etc, I do think that you are eating too many carbs from starch-type foods to lose weight as well as you want to. I don't know the nature of your injury, but I definately think SOME kind of exercise will be dramatically helpful. If you can, try an...

So what's a good monohydrate that is less expensive, and how long will it last? I pay $47.00 for 7lbs of the Cell-Tech, and I get generally about 2 months worth of use out of it, taking two scoop servings....sometimes it goes a little further. I'm a shopper, so I'm all about bargain, but at the same...

First....Tim, I'm not a guy that usually lets people fight my battles for me, but I know it really ain't even about me - it's about your site, and I'm good with it. Second, I'm not sure the differences in creatine, and to be honest, I kind of take it like a joke I heard one time talking about how a ...
