I'm not aware of levels of nicotine in farming, but in any case I'm much less concerned about the health affects of trace nicotine than trace Raid. Interestingly I'm watching Stossel right now that's debating this. He argues that although non-organic food has 3-4x as much pesticide/herbicide content...

That's one of my favorite shows of all time. I remember watching them with my dad when I was like 8 or something - maybe had a slight hand in shaping my lifelong passion for science/discovery.

I never noticed any difference on C-HCL. Didn't notice much of anything after using it up either, though not sure it was really conclusive from just that 1 month.

He's talking about Federal Reserve Bonds. Defaulting on them is simply not an option. What -is- an option, although it's a really really horrible option, is QE2, which they did in the time since my last post. (As for the budget statement, I think I was quite clear from the go, but whatever.) If you ...

The part of this thread I was interested in was figuring out why Ironman thought libertarians couldn't support law...

Really short term would be a money market fund. About 6 months ago I put about 1/4 of my non-tax-deferred portfolio into a tax-free bond fund. The thinking there being that tax rates would rise this year. That fund dipped a bit after Obama looked to get on board with keep the current rates, but I th...
