Yea...when I wrote this post I was talking about the average person in America, not an athelete. Obviously, people who choose to be a powerlifter or bodybuilder will need to be strong or muscular, people who want to run marathons will need to have a lot of endurance, and serious sportplayers will ne...

Why do you think it is...

That there are so many varied, different opinions out there on our health. You know its funny, throughout my life I've heard so many different things about what is good and what is not. I'm not just talking about exercise, but also with diet. But to start with exercise, some think endurance is good ...

I'd cut most of that, and replace part of the carbs with fruit and veggies like the Maiden of Iron says. You could a...

Well...it was when I was running very, very hardcore distances, not running like a mile or two. Like averaging around 8 or 9 at least 4 times a week. I think it was probably because I used to also be a coffee and caffeine fiend...and I know this blocks iron absorption. So I just want to be extra sur...

This is bad

I'm not sure if I am getting pimples around my mouth, or dreaded cold sores. I'd normally just go see a doctor, but alas, I am without health insurance, so I have to rely on the internet for my health, as sad as that is. Well, back to my problem. I keep getting what I think (and hope) are pimples ar...

Iron Cookware

I am going to start up my jogging again, and the last time I was jogging pretty hardcore I became iron deficient. With that in mind, I have decided to adjust my diet accordingly, with higher iron content foods and watching out for some that will block iron absorption. I have decided to go out and bu...

I just want to throw in my two cents here as well, since it seems that most people on here are very anti vegetarian. To whomever said that human digestion is like that of carnivore, all I have to say is hah. We are much more like herbivores with our anatomy...but we do have some small characteristic...

Would u recommend this to someone over something say like, running or jump roping, because the fact they have had some serious sprained ankles? It seems like it would be safer as the rollerblades are pretty padded...

Both of these syndromes sound promising...with more of De Quervain's than Carpal...but neither hit it dead on. I guess soon enough, I will have to visit a health care profession :neu:

Oh...and some weight related info...it sounds weird, but doing free weight exercises, like benches for example, really inflame the pain. When done on a smithy machine, the pain is not bad at all. Also deadlifts hurt it, as do dips and pullups and rows and the like. But the worst is free weight bench...
