The thought of protein shakes makes me nauseous. We evolved eating raw meat, not drinking shakes.

Umm...raw meat is what kills people with food poisoning and whatnot. Humans have had fire to cook meat for a LONG TIME!!!

Hmm...someone will always be bigger and stronger than me. I tend to value more exercising for vanity purposes...might make me sound like a douchebag, but I used to be pretty fat...so I have an excuse :P

I think apart of the problem is some people don't know they are putting in a bad workout and its all due to there lack of knowledge of what they are doing. It happens with kids who deside to do anabolics. They end up killing or hurting themselves. Or people who deside to take diet pills. More is be...

Am I off base here? When you go into starvation mode - not eating - your body adapts by the stomach shrinking and suppression of the appetite. Eat. Eat some more and it should come back. If all else fails, smoke a pound of pot. You should get the munchies. Hmm...I guess so. I don't smoke pot...but ...

Hmm...yea I've still been trying to weight train, but perhaps a good hike might be good. LOL...I wasn't trying to get advice on the whole "love situation", as I say, I am for the most part over it (even though it might not sound like I am). It's just...now when I try to eat like before, I think my s...

No appetite...

LOL, this sounds like a sad story, but my woman dumped me about a week and a half ago, and since then I've had no appetite at all. I've literally lost about 10-15 lbs, and even though I seem to have gotten over all the emotional crap that came with it, my appetite has not returned at all. Even when ...

I eat half a chicken in 1 meal, plus veggies and if I am bulking either some whole wheat bread or brown rice. A couple times I've eaten a whole chicken in 1 meal, but without anything else. On my last bulk, a couple times I put down a 6 piece of the Colonel's original recipe, plus nuts and a sugar-...

The reason why I posted this thread was because of all the crap u hear about what u need to eat. All I hear is "meat meat meat" for putting on muscle. I don't really drink much milk...but it is a food that has plenty of fat and protein. Same with eggs. And nuts. Beans are more carbs and protein. Eit...

food combos

Would u consider adding some combo of milk/nuts/eggs/beans to your diet in addition to your normal food intake as an effective muscle building means? In particular nuts and beans...considering the two combined have a good fat/protein/carb ratio...plenty of all three.

Best food for immune system?

I am kinda curious if anyone has any knowledge or any research on this...I mean, healthy is probably the way to go, but maybe some foods are better than others.
