My problem with a squat rack is that it is very dangerous if are alone. Lets say your leg buckles for some reason, when you collapse that bar is going to go on you and that could do some serious damage to you. Also if your alone and you go to heavy that weight is stuck on you and you have to roll it...

If you want noise cancelling headphones with out being bulky or made by bose. Then check out the company Shure which sells in-ear head phones. There amazingly comfortable and I guarantee with will block out most noise, of course within reason... but are pricey

Weightlifting and Cardio

I'm going to be going crazy over the next months to try and drop off the last bits of fat from when I use to weigh 240lbs. I'll continue to workout as well as do cardio in the same day. Would it be best to do the cardio then weight train or vise versa.

I couldn't even imagine deadlifts with no gloves. OUCH!
The only times I ever use gloves:

1.) If I rip the calouses of my hands
2.) If my equiptment is really cold

I like the amount of benches you got, that would be nice to be able to get another one or just a flat bench for bent-over dumbell rows or flyes. My physiology teacher commented on owning a tredmill, that alot people have them, don't use them, and nobody ever needs them. Squat rack...I had a bad expe...

A Bowflex could be very useful ... in outer space with zero gravity Could you imagine the day that Nautilus creates a commercial showing a astronaut using a Bowflex on a shuttle? I think they would sell like crazy. Everyone would be thinking..."wow, if astronauts use it then it must be a great prod...

Oh god I got to say that weightlifting has done wonders for me. Besides getting bigger and stronger it gave me a great amount confidence as well. Me going from 240lbs down to 180lbs and putting on serious mass just does wonders for overall life. So these kids you are dealing with if there hearts are...

Carbs. are polymers of glucose. Starch which is how plants store carbs. are the same thing. All things of composed of glucose but its the complexity of its structure which would make starch different from glucose. Glucose (C6,H12,O6), Lactose (C6,H12,O6 + C6,H12,O6 =C12,H22,O11..math isn't wrong eit...

My dad got a bowflex accually. Two years ago, he got it thinking that I would use it in conjunction with what I do with all free weights. I did use it for one excercise for about a month which was cable flyes. I didn't like it that I could use 200 lbs of resistance with the POS but dumbells I was do...

If all the cable pulldown consists of is simple cable and pulley system attached to a weight stack then I wouldn't consider that a machine. I consider a machine where the ROM is completely controlled by the design of the machine.

What I'm saying is that the claims by this manufacturer is that you will become stronger and get youself and amazing build. In simple terms, when people think of a military leader they think of a big strong guy who must know what he's talking about. Ignorance is bliss.... That was a joke with the mi...

Ok I do agree with you but there is a benefit to owning pushup handles. 1). Those will allow you to get more depth on pushups, which is what I use my handles for (I don't have that model of them). 2). It would help with strengthen your back/abs/tris/chest by having to hold yourself in a straight pos...
