Yeah, I really like the idea of getting something done fast. I'm really really busy right now, and stopped logging online like 3 months ago. I have to go in, get my workout done, and leave. I've had some fairly marked improvements in everything, but I really need to get back to logging things. I'm i...

Deadlifts are perfectly safe, if you start low and work on your form.

Yeah, I was reading it off of t-nation.com, and I gave it a shot today. Did 65lb front squats "had to ask a guy about placement of the bar". Didn't look like much, but I was gasping for air by the 3rd set, doing about 15-18 reps per set. I did do some high rep sets of back squats before I did this "...

Tabata exercise?

Anyone here actually tried this and been able to accomplish it? I tried today but my rest period was like 25-30 seconds, and I did 6 sets instead of the 8. All on front squat.

Hi Jeff, just figured I would chime in here and give my two cents. I used to be obese " 290ish lbs @ 6'2" " and no matter what you really do, it's going to help you lose weight. I'll be honest with you, you probably already have alot of muscle underneath your fat "takes alot of muscle to keep yourse...

5'9" 170 is fairly small. You start cutting down at that weight, you're not going to have much "lean muscle" to uncover.

Squatting everyday

So I'm sitting here, between my first and second breakfast, wondering if my legs are getting enough rest time. I've been consistently squatting with every workout. "Trying to trigger alot of growth, every workout" I try to alternate between heavy and lighter sets, depending on if I'm deadlifting on ...

Some things to note that I recently added to my drinks, and found that they worked really well. Waxy Maize, kills almost all soreness within half an hour of drinking it. It was really crazy, I did deadlifts, supine rows, squats, and a arm pull routine, and besides being out of energy, my body feels ...

Okay, so I did it on the bottom peg. It was amazing haha. I was chest out the whole time and pushed my hips forward and drove my heels. Worked great, and my ass was killing me.

My idea to try to fix this was to start with a restricted range of motion, like you guys were saying before. Move it up on the power rack a bit. On the floor, I always bend over.

Sorry I dont have a video of my deadlift. And i round my back when reaching for it. I try to get down as low as possible with my legs but theres still some rounding. Weird thing is, if I dont have any real weight to pull on my form goes completely to hell. I tried practicing at 135lbs and it was too...

dextrose, table sugar I believe that those are the same things. Anything will work, mixing a protein shake with caffeine, taurine, carnitine, ephedrine, b vitamins, and some sugar. That would make a super energy shake. Just a note, caffeine itself does not mix with anything. It'll mix alright, but ...

Deadlifting problem.

So I've been deadlifting for a few months now, and I never realized I'm rounding my lower back. Is there a trick to fixing this? I do have fairly long limbs that become an issue at times -- 6'2", and I'm definitely not built like a powerlifter, limb wise. I'm reading that I should try balling my toe...

I love when people doing barbell curls do a humping motion with their hips to get it up. Its funny that I sat there yesterday with my friend and we started laughing talking asking ourselves why were we doing arm curls again? "on a pull day" Theres no real benefit for us strength wise.. And then this...
