I pulled by rhomboid doing heavy front raises a while back, the pain i experienced sounds just like yours. If the pain eases by shifting your weight over on the bench slightly, this is probably pressing your scapula inwards, thus eliminating the rhomboids job of keeping the scapula in place. Likewis...

Thats cool I've been watching what i eat really carefully and know as much as i can about amounts of protein, carb and fat i need to bulk. I have managed to ensure 1 gram of protein per pound of estimated lean body weight. Thus i've been eating 6 times a day with 35-40 grams of protein in each meal....

Question regarding metabolism

I've searched high and low, but cant seem to find a stright answer on this. I understand that metabolism slows due to a starvation effect and this can happen over a period of around 6 weeks. However, how QUICKLY can you reverse this effect? I've been bulking for 6 weeks and gained 17 pounds, with th...

Simply

High Intensity = Heavy weights (80% of 1 rep maximum)
Low Intensity = Light weights

High Volume = High Reps and sets (e.g. 12 reps x 5 sets)
Low Volume = Low Reps and sets (e.g. 6 reps x 3 sets)

Hope this helps,

Hi, Reading this with interest as i've been looking at my results after a 6 week bulk (my first!). I started to weight train 12 months ago after a break of around 10 years. I've alway's been lean. I'm 6ft 2in and alway's weighed around 14 stone (196 pounds) After being disapointed with my visual res...
