Worst part is, your 100% correct, I know it now, read it when I looked into the program, yet I was still stupid… I hope OP is smarter... (But I think he wants to stay with a split, so SS might not work into his plan…) I'm not attached to my split or even keeping a split. I'm willing to change and l...

Re: Full Body workout (aka Starting Strength) w/ Calorie Def

...Day 1 workout is quite long. I'd like to try and shorten this time if possible. That's right on. My thought is to switch to a Full Body workout such as the Starting Strength program. However, I feel that I still need to stay in a caloric deficit to try and help get rid of the last bit of Fat aro...

OK, After my edit above, I do question How you get 4 exercises for chest, but 2 for back.

I see..
Day 1:
2 Chest
2 Shoulder
3 Tricep

Day 2:
2 Back
2 Bicep

My Routine is likely still unbalanced though

You have 4 exercises for chest, but 2 for back and only 1 for legs. And unless you go deep, squatting doesn't really hit the hamstrings. Your routine is unbalanced with regard to the 4 major muscle groups (quads, hams, chest, back). Switching to a full body routine three times a week will burn more...

Full Body workout (aka Starting Strength) w/ Calorie Deficit

HMMM, It appears as though, the Full Body vs Split Routines are the topic of the week, so I will ask my questions also. First, the Background info.... Overall, I'm a Newbie to weight training, however, I have been training now for about 5 months or so, and on my Better Eating Diet for about 4 ...

If I remember correctly, My Wife and I pay $25 per month but paid for a year up front. I thin the normal Month to Month Rates are around $32/month, but like every other gym/fitness center in town there is always a "SPECIAL" Amenities include.... Plenty of Cardio Equipment Quite a few Resistanc...

Let me just add to this a little bit please… I want to tell the world, I'm a total Mass-hole 1) I take ridiculous pride in my 'liberal' political stance, yet my actual views and morals are more conservative than Reagan on a good day. Typical Mass-hole thinks he's blue, but is just as red as Texas… ...

Ironman said Indian but I think he meant Indiana, the Hoosier state. Hoosier is not considered derogatory so I'm not sure it's the equivelant of Redneck. Of course, most rednecks are proud of the fact that they're a redneck so they wouldn't consider it a derogatory term either. Hmmm, Quite Interest...

redneck has only the derogatory meaning now. So it is appropriate as used. I disagree... As A Man of the South, A Redneck does not always have a derogatory meaning. Often times it does mean a Proud individual with strong beliefs, those beliefs don't have to be screamed and forced on everyone around...

Re: Protein shakes

Two questions: 1. Where have y'all found the best prices on whey powder? I will be in the US for a few weeks, and I'd like to stock up without going bankrupt. WalMart? GNC? Neighborhood grocery store? 2. Do you have any suggested alternative recipes for protein shakes? I will buy some whey while I'...
