I love eggs. I think I could live off of eggs, beans, cheese and chocolate. I have two hard-boiled or scrambled eggs for breakfast every day. Good stuff. On the weekends I add some bacon. Mmmm. And a good cheese omelet? Can't beat it. Especially if you mix some chopped spinach in the eggmix, and whe...

If you're eating normally, and feel reasonably energetic, I think it's OK to get back into it. While you're still achy and tired it's best to just stay home and feel sorry for yourself. Thanks for the advice. I really like the idea of feeling sorry for myself, but it's not as fun doing it without l...

Ah, yes, I failed to mention that I've been traveling to two countries in Europe this week, both have reported cases of the swine flu... someone better spray this board with some bleach...

Exercise when you're getting over a cold?

Is it okay to work out when you're getting over a cold? I've been sick since monday with sore throat, stuffy nose and a slight fever. The fever's gone now and I'm itching to do some weight training, but my nose is still stopped up... do you all think it'd be okay to do some light training?

Very interesting reading, Stu.

On the topic of when a calorie is not a calorie, I firmly believe that a chocolate-calorie is definitely not a calorie. It's just a very small piece of deliciousness. :green:

Thanks for all the replies  I'm going to have to try to vary my veggies a bit more. Not easy here in Sweden in the winter time as most veggies are imported and a) expensive and b) not very flavorful. I think I need to move south :green: Or, just buy frozen veggies. Anyhow. When I cut o...

I'm so bored with food! I need chocolate!!

Okay, I'm trying to change my eating habits to where I'm not loading up on chocolate at night. I'm also cutting out all fast carbs with and after dinner (no bread, rice, sugar etc.) and it's BORING. I like to eat chocolate after dinner. I want garlic bread. I want homemade mashed potatoes with lots ...

Exactly where in your stomach is this pain!? If it's on the right side between your hip bone and your belly button it might be appendicitis and you need to see a doctor. If it's a heartburn a banana will help if you don't have any anti-acid medication.

For cottage cheese, lots of cinnamon and slivered toasted almonds. For tuna, I mix it with either avocado, lemon juice, salt & pepper, or mayo, mustard and horse radish.

And with the clothes part except I am losing weight - like 4 inches (10 cm)off the waist but nowhere else! Ah, I'm the opposite. The dress is now a perfect fit around my hips, the waist on the other hand... I guess I'll just have to not breathe on wednesday evening. :green: I'm still sick by the wa...

Oh yeah, girls can definitely be too skinny. The dress isn't really a problem, I just hate being sick and wanted to complain a little :green:

AND - I wanna work out. But it's not gonna happen this weekend, I have a fever and a head full of snot (sorry if that's too much info, haha!).

*bah* being sick sucks...

I had just gotten this great workout and diet routine going, and I get sick! Bah! It's just a cold, but still very annoying. I feel like crap. I was making really good progress in little time too, with all the helpful advice I've gotten from the people on this board. Oh well, hopefully I can get bac...

Thanks for the comments. Tim - I'm doing them for a minute because it's a workout video and that's how it's structured. My goals are pretty much to stay active, get a little stronger and healthier. I'm 5'9'' and 150lbs (34yo), not overweight but would like less flab around my waist and more toned ar...
