90x3.

My left side is my weak side. It's the grip.

I really like this exercise, it's like the definition of total body.

I'll try 100 next week.

Any tips for my power clean? I feel like the bar speed is to slow for the first 4-6 inches of the pull.

Great Article!

I haven't been deloading lately, by lifting myself out of my chair. Seem to have slipped out of the habit. It feels great, and I'm glad to pick it back up!

I can only imagine the looks you would get doing BB one hand lifts at my gym. People would freak out! I can't believe the ignorance that some people at my gym have. The other day I had a couple people walk directly behind me, during a pull. Don't they realize that there is a strong possibility that ...

Day 2, To make a long story short, my CNS felt slow today. I skipped a rest day, since I skipped a day earlier this week. So I felt a little slow. I managed 80x4. My form feels great on the pull, and today I really felt the power transfer, but I'm not dropping down enough for the lockout, and trying...

Week 1 - One Arm DB Snatch - 75x5 - each arm. This was the first day that I've ever tried the DB one arm snatch. I'm pulling from the floor, not the hang. I started of with 25lbs and worked my way up to 75 on set 6. I'm sure I'll be at 85 at least next week. My form issues were catching myself in th...

Great Job, everyone!

I wanted to join in, but it didn't fit well with my current training. I'm starting a new program on Monday, that will include one arm snatches, so I'm defiantly in for that one.

I saw some guy lose a 10 off the left side when benching yesterday. The bars at my gym are very slick. Normally I don't have a problem with weight shifting but these bars must be greased up or something. I found out the hard way, on day 1 warming up with 135 bench almost lost it. From now on, I alwa...

Like I've said before, It isn't the end range of motion that bothers me. Its about 1/2, maybe less of the way down. When the exercise shifts from glute to quad. The hams deactivate and stress is placed on the lower back. The back rounds, but only for that very brief second of loss of activation. Pai...

The whole controversy with the leg press is the stress it causes to the lower back. I guess you could just restrict the ROM, though, if you really feel the need to do it. KPj Yes Sir, That it does. I have been away from the sled for a long time. It's been years. Normally I do my own programing, but...

With leg press you need to restrict the range of motion so that your back stays in a natural arch and your hips stay on the cushion. Ironman, I expect you do that instinctively. That's why the exercise works for you. Blue Running Man, you need to reduce the weight and use proper form. That's what I...

I have lower back pain, I suffered no back pain, until one day, at the gym when I was 19. I was doing some leg press. Wham, stabbing pains in my lower back. I experienced some shooting pains down one leg. It was pretty bad(7-10), I couldn't bendover or do much of anything, I woke up the next morning...

I feel like when my lower back goes into flexion, the erectors become deactivated. This shifts the load off the bigger spinal erectors to the smaller muscles of the spine, and the ligaments. As someone with lower back pain, I find that if I can keep my core contracted, stabilizing my spine, keeping ...

Thanks Tim. Some sites don't like it when you post a link regarding supplements. Especially if it's a supplement that they don't sell. LOL.
