Re: Erick's Log Comments

Best thing I've ever done for my shoulders is get my rear delts strong. Cable flies, reverse pec deck, DB raises, cable rows, DB ...

Re: Cheating on the DL

I see people deadlifting off of pads stacked about 8 inches high although I don't see the reason behind it since they have to go so light. :D I feel like 8" is excessive, but pulling from a deficit will help you off the floor. I get stuck around mid shin. I can break a whole lot more from the floor...

Re: Erick's Log Comments

I speak to him over email fairly regularly. Good kid, great head on his shoulders and very willing to help.

He doesn't like bull$h1t, and I can appreciate that.

EDIT:

Thanks for reading the log and finding inspiration in it...

I'm just a meathead, and it is nice to know it helps some people, lol.

Re: 2011: Deadlifts, Grip and Presses Log Comments

That is a good front squat, and you can see some good back development you have... Try and get your back tighter and your chest up more on the FS. You are falling forward (I have the same problem), and I don't think it is because of weakness. I think your technique is doing it to you. You are strong...

They are 'Behind the back cable lateral raises"

I poster on another board called "bonez" told them about me. And his name is shorter than the actual.

Re: Erick's Log

Front squats bar 95 135 185 205x5 240x5 270x2 FAIL - shut it down early, light headed I chocked myself out on either the 135 or 95 set. Literal cough and loss of air. After that I kept getting light headed. I am a total dumbass. I had no idea, but that slight stupid flub up would ruin the rest of my...

Re: Adding Volume, Goal to Get Stronger

I get this and agree, but I thought nygmen was saying that athletes in sports with weight classes (except those in unlimited class) can take how much gear they want like a recreational BBer. They can, lol. It all depends on the individual and their genetics. How they respond to low or high does, si...

Re: Adding Volume, Goal to Get Stronger

Are you saying that people (men) who compete in weight classes beside the superheavy/unlimited class and want to stay in their respective weight class take more than 1g (arbitrary number) of AAS per week? I'm saying there are people who blast and cruse all year, and still have a low total and look ...
