Re: A diet I can actually maintain...

Sorry about all the swears. I didn't realise until I re-read it. I'm a foul mouthed bugger.

Wow Faina seems nice... She called me honey... I tell you what I'm gonna buy whatever she's selling!

Re: A diet I can actually maintain...

Oscar I'm 26 I got over bragging about alcohol 8 years ago... I actually tend to play it down. If someone I know asks me how much I drink I'm not gonna tell them. It's embarrassing. Alcoholic in the making right here! I'm pretty sure just reducing my alcohol intake on the weekend would change everyt...

A diet I can actually maintain...

I've been eating fairly consistently and working out for the last month, and intend to keep doing so as it's going well and I'm pretty sure it's healthy. I just wanted some opinions to make sure though. First of all, my goal is to lose as much weight as possible (I'm currently at 86kg and was 74kg a...

Re: New place = new workout

Well I've been squatting 100kgs on the barbell, but there's no way I'll be able to lift two 50kg dumbells. Also, a mate of mine who is a personal trainer had a look at my form and said I wasn't leaning back enough. Basically my knees were over my toes too much. He suggested I drop 40kgs off my barbe...

Re: New place = new workout

Cheers fellas. I actually have a spare standard bar with about 60 kilos of weight that I could use to do romanian deadlifts. I might do that in favour of one of the dumbell squat sessions. I'll include kickbacks and chin ups in there too. How does this look? Monday: Barbell squats (5x5) Barbell benc...

New place = new workout

I've just moved to a new joint, and had to leave behind my rack and olympic bar and weights due to lack of space. I was gonna try and get back to the old joint a couple of times a week but have realised this is a logistical nightmare. I've decided to head back once a week so I can do heavy squats an...

Hahaha $h1t... It's a bit of a paradox isn't it, a forum for keen weightlifters and health nuts. I bet half of the members are sitting there playing Call of Duty with a box of Krispy Kremes, in various states of debate about the pros of omega 3 fats, as we speak.

Thanks Stuward.

I'm sure I'll be back sometime in the next couple of weeks requiring a bit of support, but at the moment I'm feeling pretty good.

Cheers mate.

I can imagine getting the occasional sugar craving, but a sugar hit every couple of weeks can't be that bad can it? Isn't it actually necessary to spike the insulin occasionally anyway? I'm just quite enjoying it at the moment. I used to binge on carbs every night. Just eat and eat and was never sat...

Using Ironmaidens guide - am i doing this right?

So I've decided on a low carb diet, since I've never really craved bread, pasta or potatoes. I don't even particularly like hot chips... I may be a different species... I've been eating anything I want for the last few months, and haven't really gained much weight. I mean I've certainly lost a bit o...

Thanks fellas. Yeah I might take your advice on dropping the squats and adding a single legged movement. I struggle a lot with squats after deadlifts too. I think I'll keep the bicep curls in there and if it makes no real difference I'll just drop them. I can't really afford to pack on anymore weigh...

3 day 5x5 workout routine

Just wondering how this workout looks. I've included the bicep curls because having done the Mahler starting strength workout for a while, my shoulders looked out of proportion to my arms. I was basically happy with the Mahler program but want bigger arms and a bit more variation in the workouts. Mo...

And yeah I'm gonna start up the weights again today...
I just strained my right shoulder doing military press. I've given it a couple of weeks off so I'm just going to start off lightly.
