One thing which would be good to know is why is it beneficial to go high fat vs high protein? Let's just suppose that nygmen was sold and decided to replace a lot of his protein with good fats. What benefit would that give him over getting the calories from protein ? KPj I know the main benefits fo...

I would be wary of any 'pro-hormone' type products, a lot of them, claim "steroid like effects" but most seem overrated having read other forums on the subject. A lot of people praise tribulus and biotest's alpha male but the money you could spend on these i think would be better put to use on ZMA a...

Didn't really want to start a new thread for this as i'm guessing the answer will be fairly straightforward, so here goes: During a recent discussion with my girlfriend's brother who's a "bodybuilder" I mentioned that i was doing an intermittent fasting type diet and was making serious progress with...

I think blogs like Jason's and Peter's would do more to improve the standard of trainers. If people were more clued up to the good and bad training practices, they would be more demanding of trainers and then the useless ones would die off as their client base became wise to them. Like others said, ...

Front squat form
I decided to take a break from regular squatting and am gonna go for front squats as my max effort lower body lift. I got someone to video one of my warm up sets, so that I could maybe get some pointers from you guys (and girls). For heavier sets I'll use a belt too, but only above 90% max. This was...

I haven't seen anyone attempt them yet but at times there can be a queue of people waiting to squat, bench, press and even D/L (??!!!!) in the smith, all the while the rack is empty. Smith machines seem to be like humming bird feeders to the average uneducated gym rat, load up and grunt your head of...
