Re: Sympathy Recomp 2013

I've been eating low carb for years, at the moment my carb intake is only after training (with the odd cheat meals although I usually arrange training for these days) so the actual full adaptation should be no problem. I'm quite happy going very low carb 6 days a week, it's the very low carb and low...

Re: Sympathy Recomp 2013

I'm scared. It's the weekends that are hard. I enjoy a drink (or 100000) and this leads to $h1t food. It takes ridiculous will power to have only protein and alcohol on them days/nights. There's a good leangains article on alcohol with weight loss which I trust you've read.

Re: Sympathy Recomp 2013

Copious amounts of Ephedrine and Yohimbine ordered. Looked into the Chesteze stuff but wasn't a fan of the theophylline content in them. 11 days before I hit it. Gonna do 3 very low carb weeks with a 1 day a week refeed followed by 2 rounds of 11 day PSMF broken up by a few day refeed.

Re: How to target vastus medialis

I do Split Squats in a Front Squat position. My back is upright and I squat lower than I can do in normal squats with my knee going a lot further past my knee than usual. Makes sense from Stu's explanation why this works for me.

Re: How to target vastus medialis

From experience, I find Bulgarian Split Squats annihilate that muscle: http://exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/BBSplitSquat.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I think it has definitely made a difference aesthetically. It's the only reason I do them, no sane person would do them f...

Re: Sympathy Recomp 2013

Haha interesting stuff. I think I'll check that out then (for entertainment purposes obviously). What extra supps are you gonna be having? I have some Tyrosine at home too for the Stubborn Fat Loss HIIT protocols. Something to do with it helping with an increase in fatty acid mobilisation in areas w...

Re: Sympathy Recomp 2013

Yeah I read that last year. Also, The Stubborn Fat Loss Solution is good (I'll be using the HIIT protocols in there). Also read Carb Nite, The Anabolic and Metabolic Diet, Ultimate Diet 2.0, The Ketogenic Diet.. Can't think of any more but they're all based around the same principles. I've never mad...

Re: Sympathy Recomp 2013

I'll join you for a 6 week rapid recomp in a couple of weeks, ready for my holiday in Florida! I like going at it hard for a smaller amount of time. I'll be very low carbing 6 days a week, some fasted training, a HIIT and weights circuit session along with low rep stuff to keep strength up (and incr...

Re: Anybody in the netherlands?

Just to let you know that Cannabis is still legal for tourists. There's been talk about changing it but it will never happen due to how much money it brings in from tourism. I went to Amsterdam at the end of December, amazing city.

I'm doing 5/3/1 of which the 5s will be today, so I'll update over the weekend. As for goals I don't really know as I haven't plateaued on this yet because I've only done a couple of cycles.

Finishing off the pork belly tonight and cooking exactly the same again it was so nice. Takes about an hour an half from start to eating.

Re: Guys..advice for a dumpy fella' like me whose cutting pl

Give it a while and you will master cooking. I find my food is way nicer without grains because it causes you to be more creative. I had an awesome Pork Belly meal last night. Used this recipe and it was sooooo nice! http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4367/individual-roast-pork-belly-with-apple-conf...
