Re: Random crap

Embarrassing fat bodies on channel4 is making me want to cry myself to sleep. Highlights include being told not enough protein causes muscle to turn to fat and ditch butter for margarine, full fat for skimmed milk so bad cholesterol doesn't clog arteries. Maybe another 50 years we may have progress.

Re: No appetite for breakfast

Doesn't sound like a problem to me. I've never been hungry for breakfast, my first meal is around 2pm. Don't worry, you won't waste away. As long as you're getting the food in at some point during the day it's fine and probably beneficial to skip breakfast.

Re: Random crap

Yeah that's why I usually drink others (>5%). Notice how Stella, Carlseberg Export and Kronenbourg are weaker here. They cut the alcohol down to save on tax. Whereabouts are you?

Re: Ways to get out of Bed

That idea sounded like you were onto something! Went to bed at 3am last night, getting up this morning was so painful. Why do evenings go so much faster than days? Why is there so much to do at night which puts me off sleeping? I like night times.

Re: Random crap

All the beer I drink is imported. Kronenbourg, Carlsberg Export, Peroni, Stella, San Miguel etc. If you like ale there's unlimited amounts of random ones in any traditional pub. Ale is the only thing that gives me a headache the next day though, it goes down way too easily. Ale is good at beer fest...

Re: Eating along side working out

Yeah the typical strong man look is pretty massive in general, I know someone who competes internationally. They eat a ridiculous amount for many reasons. To maximise strength gains, they're not worried about an increase in body fat (if anything an increase in bodyfat is an advantage due to the extr...

Re: Eating along side working out

It depends. For general fitness, looking good ("toned") etc. I'd stick to the above. If you're after more bulk then add in a load of carbs post workout. I trained for a year basically minimal carbs and then a cheat day/weekend every week. My approach for the last couple of months or so has been mini...

I didn't have many morning lectures, they were normally around lunchtime. I used to have one day that was a full day and that ruined me after 6 days of going to bed the time I should be getting up!

Re: Ways to get out of Bed

I have the same problem. I can have 7 - 8 hours during the week compared to weekends but haaaattte getting up for work. Weekends I go to bed like 3 or 4 and if anything have less sleep but fine getting up. I just hate mornings so much. I'll be tired all morning and slowly get better throughout the d...

I'm pretty buff nowadays. I'd be proud of myself if I was looking at myself from when I was 14 and first started training.
