I've said for a long time scooby is an idiot - the article just compounds what I've pointed out.

He has no idea how to train and looks deformed/drugged out - I would never want a physique even remotely close to the way his looks.

Where's the volume at?

At some point, you're always going to peak doing a purely strength routine. You must have muscle to produce force and that low of volume isn't going to produce a whole lot of muscle unless you're eating so much that you're getting fat. :P

This is the problem with the field of exercise science - the stuff they're teaching you is extremely outdated.

You should look for research outside of your books - I'm guessing they are at least a few years old, if not more - am I right?
