KPJ's quote from the 5/3/1 manual about "It’s hard to get mad at the guy who cuts you off in traffic after you’ve left your lunch on top of the hill after bear crawling up it." rings true to me, I just finished 20 minutes of up hill sprints and I'm pretty damn mellow. If you don't already, you might...

Would that be 5 reps at 40%, 3 at 50% and 1 at 60% similar to warmups Starting Strength style? I'm also wondering How often I should take a week off and do this? Doing what you like is fine, but don't assume it has no effect on others. You are always an example for those that look up to you and if your behaviour is not what you would like from them, then rethink your behaviour. Sorry if that sounds preachy but I have to remind myself of that once in a while...

Oatmeal with skim milk, honey and walnuts. Then as soon as I get to work I eat an apple. One day a week, I fry a couple of eggs with toast.

Hey Robert, Let me know what you think of it. I found it to be a valuable reference. It goes into a lot of detail about what actually happens to your body on a cellular level when you lift, how different types of lifting build different types of muscle, why as a beginner you can squat 3x a week and ...

$21 here http://www.amazon.com/Practical-Programming-Strength-Training-Rippetoe/dp/0982522703/ref=tmm_pap_title_0 If you shopped around a little you could probably find it for less, I wouldn't pay that much for it either. I didn't realize you were in the UK, hopefully you can find the book for a rea...

I would also highly suggest that you read Practical Programing by Rippetoe and Kilgore, I believe this would help you tremendously in determining where you are, and what happens as you go from beginner to intermediate, and how this changes the way you workout.

On an unrelated and random note, one of my female clients has agreed that if I get her a Westside Barbell T-shirt or Tank top, she will wear it everytime she trains.

I think i'm in love.

Get the tank top most definitely
