Re: Scoobys workshop exposed.
What???? the article is just an ad for steroids posing as criticism of Scooby. And it doesn't even use factual attacks... from the "article" --"The second thing this clown advises of, is to not do squats or leg training." from Scooby's website-- "Squats are a great mass-building, compound exercise t...

Re: Asymmetrical DOMS
Doh! I understand now, add in a corrective exercise to help balance out my squat and drop the redundant leg extensions.

Re: Asymmetrical DOMS
I'm fine with dropping leg extensions, but will that really balance out my squat?

Re: Asymmetrical DOMS
With a goal of hypertrophy my leg day is:
Squat 5x5
leg press 3x15
single leg hamstring curl 3x15
single leg extensions 3x15
The next day I have DOMS in my right glute. Should I drop squats altogether and just I work on single leg presses?

Asymmetrical DOMS
After squat day I have DOMS on my right side only. Therefore, I must disproportionately be using my right side for the lift.
Any suggestion on how to balance my effort better?

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012
Didn't make it to the gym last week, but tested today. I did 14 -- didn't complete that 15th-- so I improved by one but didn't make my goal.

Re: Why do we so readily accept lack of funds as an excuse
I think if someone expresses and interest in exercising, its safe to assume they are willing to put out the effort regardless of their financial circumstances.
Therefor "find kids or sandbags to load" is the equivalent of "bad excuse"

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012
I'm in. I've been doing pull ups after dl and t-bar rows, getting a set of 8 then fewer each following set. I'll do them first to determine my goal come Feb.
