85% of the calories come from fat.

EIGHTY FIVE!

It is also going to be mostly saturated fat.

I think these are meant more to be a condensed food to eat for survival and not really as a nutritional supplement.

Hmmm... It says it's 50% tallow, which is what McDonalds used to deep fry their french fries until they switched to vegetable oil. The caloric content is high but I can't imagine it is much different or any more healthy then mixing beef jerky with lard and throwing it in a blender  It def. cos...

I'm going to invent something similar. It's going to be a body-sized penis pump... I'll call it the "body-pump" and it's guaranteed to make you bigger within months along with proper diet and exercise . Dredge up some stupid scientific fact that makes it sound like it will work, stick a nice picture...

Just try to breathe normally. Holding your breath would be counterproductive.

I may take a deep breath at the end of a set though before I get the last rep or two in just to supply more oxygen to the cells.

Cooking is fine, despite what some health food nuts will say. Keep in mind these are the same people that will think cheesecake is healthy if you tell them it is organic. We don't absorb whole proteins; they get broken down in the stomach by pepsin and further in the intestines by pancreatic enzymes...

I've thought about getting certified as a trainer but at 5' 11" and 170 who's going to take me seriously? I'm all of 180 at 6'4", with massive 13.5" biceps at full flex. Heh. Yet I'm a trainer. I don't think looking the part is really that critical. You should be in shape and capable, if only to be...

Never been to India, or any other country besides the US, Canada and Jamaica.

I'm from San Francisco, in the Castro area (that's the part with all the rainbows).

Re: Elliptical trainer proper form?

Most elliptical trainers you can build up motion on. Stop pedaling on a bike and the pedals stop, stop moving your legs on an elliptical and they keep going. So, essentially, they will always be 'easier'. I think this is true; there's an inertial force you'd need to subtract to get the total work d...

I'd be really cautious listening to anyone tell you how many calories you should get since everyone has different caloric requirements. There are too many stochastic variables involved such as hormone levels, variable physical activity throughout the day, basal metabolic rate, brain chemistry, etc.,...

A good general rule with any unilateral exercise, is work the weak side first, then don't do any more reps on the strong side that you could do on the weaker side. No need to neglect the strong side completely. You could also do extra sets on the weak side. ^^^ I really think as long as you work th...

It depends if your body has transitioned to burning fat. This normally takes about 3 weeks of being on a low carb diet. People who are not, will "hit the wall". Even if you are on a low carb diet, it depends on how hard you're going. Having carbs while in a competition situation would give you an a...

When you run and you don't have enough carbs to use as energy, doesn't your body just start burning fat?
