Hey, it would be okay if I switched out B-O rows for regular rows wouldn't it?

I'd like to switch out some of the exercises that I've been doing for some that I haven't. Just so I don't get bord. I kinda am all ready, so that's why I'm doing it know.

I'm not sure if this is it or not...but I find front squats bother my back more than back squats do. My low back is always really fatigued and cranky after I front squat heavy than if I back squat an equally difficult weight. Could be that. Might be something else, too, I'm just throwing that out t...

Full-Body 5X5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Core: Front Squat: 115 for 5 reps: 130 for 5 reps: 145 for 5 reps: 160 for 5 reps: 185 for 5 reps. (I think this is a PR) The first three sets were done deep. I did the first two reps on the fourth se...

Oh. In that case, your journal is really confusing. When you list an exercise in a workout journal, that implies (at least to me) that you did the lift. Be patient. Don't push the weight too fast. Give it time. I did all the lifts in my journal, I just forgot to post my 1RM attempt. And I will.

Re: Walking

I know there are better ways to reach certain fitness goals - losing weight, muscle gain, etc. I think a lot of us (men mostly) don't consider walking since it isn't a macho thing to do. It just seems to me (once again purely anecdotal) that it might be one of the best and easiest things you could ...

If you can make it though the first 4 weeks or so of legs, Its actually REALLY fun. One of my favorite exercises is squats now. I hated them about 2 months ago, until I came here. I'd add another leg day. With split 2 you could take one push and one pull out and add a leg. Maybe Push/Chest and Tri's...

As much as I like 5/3/1, there is certainly nothing wrong with a full-body linear program. As long as you can still make gains with a linear program, you probably should, as the gains usually come faster that way. When a straight linear program won't allow you to increase any more, than switch to s...

I decided not to give her a spinning back kick and reasoned with her... "what the hells wrong with chucks?". She said, "they're not really sportswear, are they? Are they not more fashionable than anything else?". I said, "when have you EVER seen me trying to be fashionable?????". She mentioned thin...
