Whey Protein Concentrate vs isolate

Whats everyones view on this subject? Do you think there is a massive difference in quality and results from using Isolate vs Concentrate?

I've been using Concentrate and am satisfied with my results but wondered if I could get more bang for my buck... or if i'm just chasing rainbows?

Robertscott:

Can you describe your "wrong way" pullovers a little more? Or perhaps link to them somewhere? I might have a crack at those!

Re: Neanderthal no more

Yeah, I'm running a body part split - looks like this: Mon - Chest/Triceps: Flat Bench, Incline Bench, Flyes, Close Grip Press, Dips, Rope Pulldowns Tue - Back: Dumbell Rows, Cable Rows, Lat Pulldown, Sometimes Pullups (aggrivate my elbows - more than likely caused by my shoulders), Deadlifts (just ...

Re: Neanderthal no more

I was hoping you'd reply... I think this is a conclusion that I have come to of my own accord, too. I definately focus(ed) too much on my presses and not enough on my pulls. I have been doing a lot of dumbbell rows, cable rows, face pulls, lat pull downs (lighter - more of a squeeze than a "weight" ...

Neanderthal no more

I was having a read of the Neanderthal No More series yesterday (at work) - while I intend to digest the material when I have more time, could I ask a couple of questions about one or two postural issues and see if anyone can suggest a remedy: Basically, looking at my body from the side in the mirro...

Re: Switching to a Bodybuilding Focused Program

I think you hit the nail on the head (Nygmen) when you talked about focus and creating an enemy - I wonder how many times we decide we can't lift something before our muscles tell us? I remember Arnie used to read all the physcology books and work on the whole "mind over matter" stuff. I definately ...

Re: Vegetable oil

A lot of the regional phrases in my own area (North East UK) come from the Norse invaders - words like Baern (Pronounced: Bear-n; Meaning child) and Marra (meaning friend). Try impressing your friends by saying: "Wos gannin oot wiv wor lass an our marra's - her mam's lookin after the baerns" Transla...

Foam Roller - UK stores/Sites

Hey all Just wondering if any UK based Foam Roller users know of a good place to pick one up for a good price? I'm asking because I've noticed a few people insist you pick up a "firm" or "firmest" roller you can find... not many sites grade how firm their rollers are! Also, while on the subject - an...

Protein Powder - quick check on this particular brand

Hey all,

Anyone have any input on this powder? I've been using it for a little over a month but wanted to check with you guys as to its quality. Any other comments would be 100% appreciated!
