Re: A week without a gym! =0

If you don't have any weights, you can give the PBF a try. Basically a ladder of increasingly difficult BW variations of the big lifts. Link here: http://www.exrx.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=8135" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Creatine

As long as you're buying a reputable brand it shouldn't make that much difference. Creatine is creatine after all... Micronized is less of a chore to dissolve.

Re: A week without a gym! =0

The consensus is that a week off doesn't make any difference, but keep eating the same way as if you're training.

Re: WORK AND WORKING OUT

If you find yourself struggling on the last sets, you could cut the volume down to 3x5 (like Starting Strength).

Re: Question about foam rolling.

You're welcome. BTW I did try stretching but found rolling with tennis balls more effective, although it's something I only do on per needed basis and I always keep my pelvis off the floor.

Re: New to working out; my exercise routine

But diet definitely matters a lot so yeah, fix it. The fact that a beer belly is caused by beer is a myth, but fixing it with diet is not. Reducing fructose consumption and increasing egg yolks and liver should make a difference. That's actually part I disagree with. If alcohol's not part of the pr...

Re: C25K Program?

Mark, I have to disagree on ths point. "walking will burn a greater percentage of fat than running." Running will burn more calories than walking and burn more fat in total for the same distance travelled. As well, the higher the intensity, the longer the afterburn effect of the exercise. The perce...

We have tons of posts on diet
Beer belly is no less a myth than spot reduction, so exercise definitely counts more than 1%. But diet definitely matters a lot so yeah, fix it.
