Re: New video by Dr. Stuart McGill

Have you guys read Bret Conteras' article where he argues that training for flexion or rotation is not as dangerous as Dr. McGill has numerously said?

Re: Why what and when for 1rep max

When should you do the one rep max? Thats another question of mine once a month once every six months? I could do it monthly but I feel I would lose a day of actual quality lifting. Well, for a weightlifter like me your training maxes are the second most important thing after what you've achieved i...

Well, our little brother is the biggest of all hominids. That's all what matters Image

Re: Balance, weight distribution during squats

Yeah, actually it's one of the reason why kids' bottom can almost touch the ground while squatting. As for me, I have 23" thighs and 16" calves ;)

Well, that's still nothing compared to kids squatting ;)

Looks fun. How do you seal the ends though? And how much water?

Re: Balance, weight distribution during squats

How about try pointing your toes out a bit more? For me, 30-45 degree is about optimal and makes my body as upright as possible (olympic/weightlifting style squat). I'll try to get a video of me squatting if possible for comparison purposes. BTW here's how I look at the bottom position: http://i26.p...

Re: B-Complex (Neurobion)

I used to know a couple of greyhound trainers who would swear by giving their dogs an injection before a race. Not sure if it was legal for the racing though! I have heard that it is common practice in that industry to at least give them to recovering animals, post-injury - perhaps close to your si...

Re: B-Complex (Neurobion)

I have actually been taking the injectable version of Neurobion (B1 100mg, B6 100mg, and B12 5000mcg) 2x/week but feel nothing extraordinary so far. I'm planning to take the oral version daily as recommended (for treating cases).

Re: B-Complex (Neurobion)

I've read some info on vit. B12 and apparently through my diet (meat and eggs) I may already consume enough vit. B12. EDIT: I think I and the others I've mentioned before may not have the correct reason for taking Neurobion (B1, B6, and B12). After reading how vit B in general is important for neura...

B-Complex (Neurobion)

People in my gym (and a lot of athletes in this part of the world) often consume Neurobion either regularly, when they feel their muscles ache from training, when they are feeling lethargic, etc. There are different "grades" of Neurobion but most use the highest 5000 version, which consists of vit. ...

Thanks for the input. Actually I've been thinking about taking exactly that amount at a time just to see if there would be any effect.

What I feel from lowering bodyfat

I've been doing some kind of intermittent fasting for about 2 weeks now and have been noticing my BF going down. Although my bodyweight stays the same (75kg/165lb) all this time, I feel lighter, less sluggish, and somewhat more energetic which is kind of odd because of the aforementioned fact. Has a...

Re: Nootropics

I'd be interested to hear how you get on, you should report back every week or so if it's not too much bother It wouldn't be a problem. Right now I'm taking a German course at Goethe Institut and have placed an order for many more Piracetam tabs, lol. They say Aniracetam is better because it's fat ...
