Re: definition
i guess i mean the water retention - if you want to look more defined you have to cut fat (without losing too much muscle) or gain muscle (without gaining too much fat)... this "swollen" effect of creatine gives you a more pumped look, like after a workout, regardless of your body fat percentage. im...

Re: definition
i would argue that starting creatine would give you 'definition', if you mean muscular prominence, faster than exercise at the begining...

Re: So you can't finish your set... what next?
If 5 x10 is your goal, realistically you want to be using 50-60% of your 1RM. ok but it doesn't always work out perfectly of course... so again, if you cant finish a set, do you keep the same weight and just cut reps for the next sets, or do you lower the weight to finish the set and try again with...

So you can't finish your set... what next?
This has always been a problem of mine since I plateau easily, especially on isolation or more technical exercises, which makes advancing on strict numbered training plans (do this many sets for this many reps) frustrating options: 1. Don't finish the set.... if you're supposed to do 5 sets of 10 re...

Re: final word on pre/post food/protein shake intake with ca
well I'm following the TNT diet now (the strictest one for most fat loss), and the second-most strict one has you eating carbs after training, and one cheat meal during the week. The rest of the time its just protein/fat/veggies. They say this will let you gain muscle, while losing fat on the non-we...

Re: final word on pre/post food/protein shake intake with ca
any studies? i'm looking on pubmed and finding a lot on the effectiveness of HIIT in weight loss, hemodynamic parameters, etc... but nothing comparing HIIT to moderate intensity cardio, let alone saying that the former is useless..

final word on pre/post food/protein shake intake with cardio
assuming you're going for the magical "gain muscle, lose belly" formula and you do cardio on your non-weight days... wanting to break down fatty acids and not amino acid 1. Is it good to train fasted? Ie. because of work or classes you have not eaten for 4 hours, should you go straight to the cardio...

It was to do with the amount absorbed as creatine isn't always absorbed well but I don't think it's worth having 20 servings a day about it, it would make little difference if any in performance but pretty interesting for elite athletes maybe. ok so do you need carbs to absorb creatine properly or ...
