Rotator Cuff injury

Hi dudes, I injured my right rotator cuff, but I can't find out which muscle is injured. I think that it is an overuse injury. I did some complexes one night and everything was nice, but the next day I had a pain when I did some moves with my arm. When I do lateral raise , I feel a pain in the lower...

Re: Plan for my girlfriend

You must be careful about her program because it can get boring for her easily. She's a girl and chances are high that she could just start going to pilates or something... I think you should remove either bench press or press. I think that, for her, press is better and safer exercise, but I think y...

Re: Book about technique?

Thanks Stu, we can always count on you :)
I'm really sad that I didn't have this book earlier, it would save me many hours of searching some sites and other books... But maybe it's better this way.

Book about technique?

Hi guys! Can someone recommend me a good book which has correct technique for those famous compound movements: deadlift, squat, bench press, press... I want to have everything in one place, I'm looking for something that would go into details because, for me, it's more important to not get injured t...

Re: Pronounced belly with 10% BF

robertscott, just do them against the wall. That way, you can progress every week if you mark your position. I do them once per week, and almost every time I can improve. I always did one set at the end of a workout, and first I did 5-10-15 reps, and then I move away from the wall for a little bit, ...

Re: Pronounced belly with 10% BF

You could use ab-wheels. They are hated because they were sold on TV with those skinny girls using them, but if you try to do them on your toes (not on your knees) they can be very hard. If you can do that for reps, than you don't need more core work. Google this, and you will find out what you need...

Front lever - tucked?

Hi dudes! I found some progression for front lever and I started doing it. Immediately I could do tucked front lever with bent spine, but I don't know how to flatten my spine. Do you have any advice about this? When I'm in position with curved spine, if I try to flatten it, I can't do anything, I en...

Re: One-arm one-leg pushups and elbows

If you're rolling out with the ab wheel on your toes consistently, you're doing better than I am. You might want to take my advice with a grain of salt. :red: I only need 2cm (1 inch) more to fully extend. I'm not there yet. Advices from BeastSkills are really good, and doing them against the wall ...

Re: One-arm one-leg pushups and elbows

Yes, I know. But I don't have much time to train. I'm studying, and this semester I could only train either on friday or saturday because I had very stupid schedule... I'm now third year (it will take me 1.5 or 2.5 years to finish), and when I finish, I'll get strong in a year or two with normal exe...

One-arm one-leg pushups and elbows

Hi guys! I have a question if somebody knows something about this. I did my first one-arm one-leg pushup before a couple of months, and I still can't do them for reps. I can do three singles in a row (with 2 sec pause), but I can't improve. Is there a chance that if I do them every day, I could get ...

Re: Ways to get out of Bed

So your individual experience applies to the whole world? Your personal experiment on 1 person proves a general principle? Why, oh why do all those silly scientific researchers bother to do their studies on hundreds of subjects, when really they'd only have to do them on you? No. For those that are...

Re: I need big arm

No dude, you're doing it wrong! If you train your arms directly, you are going to have only problems. So you want to look nice and gals to like you, then you could at least read something for an hour and that should be enough. If you do triceps isolations you are going to ruin your elbow. If you do ...

Re: New Cholesterol Guidelines

The benefits of high cholesterol by Uffe Ravnskov - very important reading. If you think that cholesterol is bad, you should think how much we heard that meat is bad for us (even red meat?!). I think that this is what I read a couple of year ago. High cholesterol is not healthy only when we are you...

Re: No appetite for breakfast

Here is an article on T-Nation about breakfast. Important thing: Despite the fact that caloric intake, macronutrient composition, energy expenditure, appetite hormones, and sleep duration were the same for the late versus early eaters, the late eaters lost less weight then the early eaters, thus pr...

Hydratation of palms during winter

Hi dudes! Every winter, I get small white dots between fingers (that loose skin between them) and it goes away immediately when I apply ordinary hand cream. But I was thinking, is there any way to improve hydratation of hands? Maybe some vitamins (fruit) or something, or maybe I need better circulat...
