Does anyone have any good articles or advice on prehab for your back. I suffer from alsorts of back pains and wouldnt mind starting to do a few preventitive exercises to hopefully help me out a bit.

Don't worry about which variation is better for "lat development" for the moment, just get stronger in that movement, then go back to our wide-grips later after you are a little stronger. I do those pullovers and I feel they are my most effective tricep exercise they leave my arms aching compared to anything else.
