Hi everyone

Can anyone who has injured their rotator cuff tell me how they did it? and any symptoms they had before it happened.

Reason I am asking is in reference to the following post

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

if your increasing your weight i.e bulking up and you take the right amount of protein then you will find that the money you spend on "real food" amounts to around the same as what you would spend on protein plus meals - dont let the lump sum put you off, it's not as if you eat it all in one go.... ...

I think Body Fortress could be a UK brand. Well, i'm from UK and that is the brand that my gym sells. I personally wouldn't buy it at full price, if your getting a discount then take it, definitly. Holland & Barret sometimes offer it at half price and I usually take a tub at that price. However, if ...

Hi Matt, thanks for responding. When I bench press my elbows are flaired AKA the bodybuilder style. During my research I discovered that there was actually another way AKA the powerlifter style with elbows closer to body, bringing bar down a little lower. When benching now I am just in 2 minds so I ...

Hi Tim

It's funny you say that as I stay about 20 miles from Glasgow :-)

I will take your advice. For some reason, I never even thought of contacting someone through an actual sports team, lol. Will have a go anyway. Hopefully I will get told that it's all in my head!

Thanks again

Thanks, again. So, when I go and see the doctor, and he gives me anti infammatorys and tells me to come back in 3-4weeks when they're finished, is it reasonable for me to say "that won't work, I need referred to a specialists and infact, I've still got almost 2 packets of anti inflammatorys from the...

Thanks for the reply. lol, now you've got me thinking. I agree that I should see someone, my only problem is....who? I have a lot of respect for GP's but my doc is completely hopeless with sports injury. I went to him with a chest injury, quite mild but it was a concern. To check what caused the pai...

dull ache in shoulder when training

Hi First of all, my goal is size and strength. I follow a typical bodybuilding split routine. I train chest/tris, back/bi's, shoulders/trap and legs/abs. 4 days per week, generally 2 body parts each day. I like to mix it up but this is it generally. I have been training for almost 2 years and put on...

Thanks Tim. I understand what your saying. My goal is strength and size but I have noticed an increase in fat, which is obviously down to diet. It's nothing extreme at all but I would like to tackle it in the early stages by cleaning up the diet and adding cardio... I have been on a bulking mission ...

Hi, thanks for the reply. Just one more question,

Would it be at all effective if you were also trying to shed fat?

Thanks

Cardio immediatly after weight training

I've seen a lot of people who will train with weights for 45 minutes to an hour, then do cardio for 15-20 minutes.

If your general aim is increasing strength and size, what effect would 15-20 minutes of cardio have on your main goal, if you did this straight after lifting...?

Thanks

thanks for the replies, was really just paranoid as it seemed like a contradiction. I understand what was said but with one question, Iron man said that you really need have strong abs for this. Would it be just as important to have a strong lower back before doing it? I'm not arguing with the point...

Straight Leg Deadlift - bent back???

Hi I've recently had the notion to perform straight leg dead lifts to target my hamstrings. I did them at a very light weight and they did feel good, however, I couldn't help but get paranoid that I was breaking one of the golden rules..... Bending my back...... Here's a link to the exercise, http:/...

thanks for the replies. Are you just too lazy to prepare your own food? Or do you want a way to take food with you places, like to work. There's many solutions to both of these problems that don't involve icky microwave meals I am guilty of being too lazy to prepare my own food, but I don't turn to ...
