So I built a power cage, got an olympic set, and started on Stronglifts. That put me on a new road that I've been on ever since, and ...

Re: 2011: Deadlifts, Grip and Presses Log Comments

Going in to do my Front Squats now. I plan on hitting somewhere in the 200-300 range. I want to spend a few more sessions before I attempt 315. It can happen now as well but I want to consolidate the hell out of my strength right now. After Front Squats I'm gonna do some Cable Pullthroughs (you guys...

Re: To go deep or not to go

I also don't know what to choose here. I don't do Squats. I do Front Squats. But I go deep. What do I choose lol?

I think I'll go choose normal squats because to me squatting to my depth is normal.

Re: To go deep or not to go

Isn't the goal to be able to squat deep safely - as in work on hip mobility and injury prevention?

My next goal is to be able to do Pistol Squats using this goblet grip. But, that is damn hard lol...

Re: Dealing with discouraging factors

You will be surprised at how little you will lose (of anything) if you put certain things on the back-burner and prioritize others. For example, lets take your mobility issue. You are having mobility problems? Fine. Let us also assume your Lower Body workout goes like this: Squats Lunges Some PC Exe...

Hello. I'm just here to say hi. Army training is very difficult IMO. Atleast your workouts and what I have seen others do scares me lol... Total endurance and mental strength.

Hi!

I had a look at your log: very cool.

I like how you did Deadlifts and then a set of Light Squats and then Chins. Good stuff :-)
