Re: Found more lost gems (new + old views on rear deltoid li

I think you need to find a new, more productive hobby to occupy your time. Consider learning a foreign language or becoming proficient at a musical instrument.

Re: Pull-up Challenge, 2012

Count me in. Wide grip pull-ups. I've been doing my chins/pulls second in my upper workout, following inverted rows, for prioritization reasons. I'll continue to do so for the challenge. To make things more difficult for myself, i did only a couple of light sets of inverted rows prior to the initial...

Re: Foundations of Shoulder Health

Dropping (overhead) press: i would say only if it gives you pain. I experienced pain with it (mostly on the side of my winged scapula, which i doubt is unrelated) and had to change how i did it. I was doing it with dumbbells like the guy in the picture here ( http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Delt...

Re: Foundations of Shoulder Health

Kenny's and KPj's posts are both great and they're infinitely more experienced than i am (i might have to try those YTIWs, myself), but i just have a couple of things to add regarding what has worked for me in fixing my own shoulder pain. Eric Cressey wrote a shoulder health article that's very good...

Re: Buzz Training

I feel it's probably best to have your wits about you when attempting to lift weights. I have ended up doing pull-up or push-up contests with friends while intoxicated before, though. Wish i could tell you how it felt but i don't seem to be able to recall many details for some reason.

Yes. I do the majority of my shoulder pre-hab work with resistance bands. I'm noticing particularly good results from facepulls.

Re: I nolonger cramp in my quads when I get hand jobs!

Speaking as a skinny person: your girl (even though none exists) is indeed fat. So is your mom. Incidentally, your mom is also MY girl. Your fat mother and i love each other very much, and we both want what's best for you. And what's best for you is that you stop posting. Go out into the world, and ...

Re: Pressing with Volume

Ozzy, isn't your main focus weight loss? If it is, you'd be better doing higher reps and shortening your rests. Gets the heart rate up and sheds those pounds. Training for strength is all well and good, but it won't have the effect on body composition a higher volume approach. High rep squats with ...

Resistance bands can be used to do some pretty good assisted pistols. You can see how here: http://www.beastskills.com/tutorials/tutorials/38" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
