Haven't read anything about this, what are your opinions on muscle shape changing with stretches. Are there any articles on this?

back twitch

Been getting a twitch in my left lat for a while now on the odd occasion which isn't painful, but rather annoying. It happens a few times, then leaves but leaves a 'it's gonna go again' feeling in the same spot. Only happens maybe a couple of times a week, with no pattern in when, probably been goin...

Re: Beginner bodyweight enthusiast seeking guidance

From what I've learnt from here I believe posterior delt work is important in any workout. The shoulder is the most unstable joint in the body, then add the fact most people's shoulder workouts include anterior and lateral work but no posterior, then adding in chest day, recipe for injury....and tha...

Re: rear delt fly grip

Both replies seems to suggest knuckles up version would be better for me. Yeah lateral raises I try to keep my pinky higher, I also try and lean forward a little. But for anterior raises I've been doing them with a hammer grip? And I do all talked about exercises with a slight bend in the elbows. Ba...

rear delt fly grip

Seen a couple of different grips, not sure how to exactly describe them but... There's one grip as if your doing bicep curls, (thumb forward) and one where you twist you're wrists so you're knuckles are in front. I was wondering is there much different for muscle activation? Does one put more focus ...

Re: Machine Row/Rear Delt

For me, that machine works as its easy, if I tried to use dumbbells I wouldn't have the correct technique so for the time being, its the machine. Thanks for all the advice and the debate, provides a real insight into everything. robertscott, when you say curls, what do you mean exactly? Also, I didn...

Re: Machine Row/Rear Delt

If I'm honest, its because I'm slightly lazy, and plus a wouldn't know where to start for upper back/rear delt dumbbell work. Even though I know dumbbells are better.

Signed up to a new gym for 3months at home, its got all Cybex machines e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MKGArS7w7c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Couple of questions: 1. I've been told the horizontal grip is better for rear delt activation? 2. Thumbs! Should they be on top of the...

Re: alot of popping, cracking and some pain

Just a quick question, what weight do you guys do on facepulls if your doing say 8-10 reps? I can do 3x8 at 15kg. I was just wondering because thats lot higher than anterior raises or lateral raises, so I'm questioning my technique....I'm assuming upper back comes into it.....
